This session will identify concepts for dietitians to serve as trainers of teachers. The program goals are to promote strong teacher influence, to guide children and teens in science aptitude, and to increase the pipeline of students entering the science professions. There is no better “science-teacher champion” than a dietitian-nutritionist!

This session will explore the role of the dietitian when it comes recommending exercise in a healthcare setting. Sylvia will go over common patient questions related to exercise and tips for addressing them.
