Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day commemorates the dedication of RDNs as advocates for advancing the nutrition status of Americans and people around the world. Join the New Hampshire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NHAND) for a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist Day event to celebrate our profession!

NHAND is hosting three RDN Day events throughout New Hampshire in March 2019 . All events will include a light breakfast, time for networking, and a one-hour educational presentation worth 1 CPEU:

Wednesday, 3/13 from 8-10am at Portsmouth Regional Hospital: Educational presentation about sports nutrition by Marcia Nelson, MS, RD, LDN, Director of Sports Nutrition at the University of New Hampshire.

Wednesday, 3/13 from 8-10am at Southern New Hampshire University: Educational presentation entitled ‘Updates for your nutrition assessment toolbox – current guidelines for assessing and diagnosing malnutrition’ by Maggie Dylewski Begis, PhD, RD, LD, Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of New Hampshire.

Thursday, 3/14 from 8-10am at Littleton Regional Healthcare: Educational presentation entitled ‘Amazing Just the Way You Are- Eating Disorders 101’ by Margaret Burckes-Miller, EdD, MS, Director of Eating Disorders Institute at Plymouth State University.
