We are pleased to announce that registered dietitian Rebecca Story has been named Outstanding Dietitian of the Year Award by the New Hampshire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Our national organization, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, is awarded to a dietitian who has demonstrated leadership qualities in the active service either the national association or the state affiliate and who promotes optimal health and concern for the nutrition status of people in the state through their professional and volunteer work.
Since 2001 Becca has worked tirelessly to improve the health of the people of New Hampshire through her work with the New England Dairy and Food Council, New Hampshire Food Bank, and the University of New Hampshire. In addition to her work related to food insecurity issues, she has also made valuable contributions to the profession through her work on the board of the New Hampshire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics since for more than a decade.
Becca received a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Connecticut, and earned a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire. She currently works at the New England Dairy & Food Council.
